Fosters = Heroes!
Fosters open their homes temporarily to dogs who have just been brought into our rescue. The dogs would otherwise have nowhere to go and need a safe place to feel loved, to recover if they are suffering from health issues, neglect and to finally have the chance to decompress. The shelters are so stressful, dirty and often a death camp for these dogs and their siblings or kennel mates. The dogs are often so scared while in the shelter, they do not sleep or eat. The best night of sleep for many of these dogs is their very first night in their foster home and we are happy to be able to provide that with your help. We have been able to help so many dogs that you've seen on our website because of these amazing people who didn't look the other way, did more than their part in helping the epidemic of homeless shelter and stray dogs. As a foster parent, you are responsible for providing love, patience, training (basics) a warm bed and protection as you would your own dog and occasionally transporting the dog to and from adoption events or fundraising events. We provide all veterinarian care, medicines, food, bedding, crates, collars, etc for the dog while in foster care. Our dogs are heavily networked on over 16 adoption sites to be seen by people in all areas for adoption consideration.
